İstanbul’un 8 semtini şair Cihat Duman ile gezerken bazen kendimi “rind” gibi, gezdiğimiz yerleri ise Allah’ın coğrafi hali gibi hissetmek istedim. Sanki Allah’ın sokaklarında yürüyordum.
As we walked through 8 neighbourhoods of Istanbul with poet Cihat Duman, at times I wanted to feel like a ‘rind’—the truly mature individual in Ottoman divan poetry—and the places we walked through like the geographical equivalent of God. It was as if I was walking through the streets of God.
